  • DO NOT DRIVE ON THE NEW CONCRETE FOR AT LEAST 7 DAYS
  • DO NOT ALLOW DRAIN WATER TO UNDERMINE THE SLAB AND CAUSE SETTLEMENT CRACKS
  • DO NOT ALLOW SNOW AND ICE TO ACCUMULATE ON THE SLAB AND CAUSE SETTLEMENT CRACKS
  • DO NOT ALLOW THE USE OF DE-ICING CHEMICALS FOR SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL DURING  THE FRIST YEAR.
  • NEVER USE DE-ICER CONTATINING FERTILIZERS (i.e AMMONIUM SULFACE, AMMONIUM NITRATE) SAND CAN BE USED FOR TRACTION.
  • PROMPTLY REMOVE THE BUILD UP OF SNOW AND ICE IN WINTER AND CLEAR OFF AREAS WHERE DE-ICING SALTS DROP FROM VEHICLES
  • IF WAER SHOWS IN HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS (AS SOMETIMES HAPPENS OVER A FEW YEARS) CLEAN THE SURFACE AND RESEAL FOR FURTHURE PROTECTION
  • CONCRETE IS SEALED AFTER COMPETION OF JOB BUT CONCRETE  SHOULD BE RESEALED EVERY TWO TO THREE YEARS.
